In South Africa, high levels of crime and violence interrupt our lives every day. As a country, we are only starting to realize the true level of brokenness and trauma in our society. This violence creates ruptures in our social fabric and contributes to social disorganization. Citizens have to manage a not unrealistic sense of threat on a daily basis which contributes to mental distress, reduced quality of life and the thinning of social bonds.

WHEN YOU SHOP WITH US, YOU SUPPORT THIS COMMUNITY: WARD 71 CAPE TOWN

The #ConnectWithCare Advocacy Ward 71, Cape Town promotes kindness and mindfulness and advocates for active citizenry and social cohesion through their community events. They believe that by each resident practicing self-care and community-care, on a daily basis, they can grow Ward 71, Cape Town into a more inclusive and cohesive community and use this as an example to create a positive ripple effect into the wider world.
