Returns / refunds within South Africa:
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on our products, as long as they are returned in an “as new” and sellable condition. This means that there is no physical damage to the product, it has not been soiled, stained or washed and does not smell like cigarette smoke, braai smoke, perfume, etc.
We will arrange and cover the courier fees for collection of the item from your confirmed address at no extra cost to you. Once we receive the item back, we will inspect it to make sure it meets all criteria above. If it meets the criteria above, a refund will be processed. If you decide to return the same item again during the 30 day money back guarantee period, the cost to have the item delivered back to us and/or returned to your address will be billed to you.
If, however, the item does not meet these criteria, your refund will not be processed and the cost to deliver the item back to you will be billed to you, or alternatively you may arrange for your own collection from us.
We do not accept returns on any Ubuntu Baba baby carriers that have been purchased second hand or that is out of the 30-day money back guarantee period.
If you’ve purchased Ubuntu Baba products from one of our authorised stockists, please contact the retailer for their return policy. All refunds and exchanges are handled through your retailer.

Returns / refunds outside of South Africa:
We do not accept returns or support exchanges for international orders processed through our online store.
Countries outside of South Africa may be subject to additional duties to be paid.
As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you reside in; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.
The final value of your order does not include any additional duties required. The carrier, prior to delivery, will inform you of the additional duties.
If you refuse to pay the duties to release your order, the order will subsequently be returned back to the Ubuntu Baba warehouse and refunded. A shipping & handling fee may be deducted from your refund.
By law, Ubuntu Baba is required to state the correct amount paid for any outgoing international package. Any requests to change this information will be denied.
Our products come with a lifetime guarantee on all stitching and workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper care or cleaning, non-standard usage, misuse or negligence, or the natural breakdown of colours and materials over extended time and use.
We will arrange for our couriers to collect the item from your confirmed address at no extra cost to you. Once we receive it back, we will inspect it to access the manufacturing defect and undertake the necessary repairs. Once repaired we will send it back to you at no additional cost.
If we determine that there is no manufacturing defect, but the fault is due to misuse etc., the cost to repair and to deliver the item back to you will be billed to you, or alternatively you may arrange for your own collection from us.
Gift Voucher and Coupon Codes:
“Gift Vouchers” refer to electronic vouchers that a customer purchases online for someone else as a gift. These are delivered to the recipient via email with your personal message and contain instructions on how to redeem them at checkout. These are available from us online, and are purchased in fixed, Rand value amounts, e.g. R300, R500 etc.
Gift Vouchers are valid for 3 years (36 months) from date of issue.
“Coupon Codes” refer to promotional and marketing coupons that have restrictions on their use, and varying expiration dates, with a promotional fixed amount discount, e.g. R100 off (fixed voucher), or a promotional percentage discount e.g. 15% off.
Ubuntu Baba Gift Vouchers and Coupon Codes are not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission. Ubuntu Baba Gift Vouchers and Coupon Codes can only be redeemed at Ubuntu Baba online at www.ubuntubaba.com

Should you have purchased just before or after a sale period, there will be no price adjustments made on those purchases.
