As we approach our 9th birthday on Feb 13 2024, I wanted you to be the first to know about some very big news…
After much consideration over the past 3 years, I have been working to find the right buyer for Ubuntu Baba, to take our brand to the next level. And finally, I have found that person! I am thrilled to announce that Soria Wisse is the new owner of Ubuntu Baba baby carriers!
These last 9 years have been an incredible journey, with many ups and downs along the way, and I am immensely proud of how far I’ve been able to bring this brand, with the support of many amazing people along the way.
I believe that Soria, with her deep passion for our brand and understanding of the manufacturing process, will continue to elevate Ubuntu Baba to new heights and I’m excited to see the brand flourish under her guidance.
Accompanying Soria, I’m delighted to introduce Susan Pienaar as Ubuntu Baba’s newly appointed Brand Manager.
As we embark on this new chapter, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the years.
This year, we aim to focus on ground-level growth, reaching new parents all across South Africa, with the help of our dedicated stockist community.
